NeighbourUp
A network your community owns
Designed to keep working
Works offline
Runs over a local mesh network, so it keeps working without internet or mobile coverage.
Solar - powered
Community nodes run on solar and wind power, ready when the grid isn’t.
Easy to join
Connect from any phone. No app store, no account needed to get started.
From quiet days to critical moments
Four simple steps from local network to shared awareness.
- Nodes create the network. Solar-powered nodes link together to form a local mesh.
- Residents connect. Join the NeighbourUp Wi-Fi from any phone and open the app.
- Everyone shares one picture. Reports, shelters, hazards, and safety check-ins appear on a shared map in real time.
- Responders coordinate. Volunteers and Civil Defence can respond, broadcast alerts, and chat on the network
One platform, three modes
From calling for help to sharing local knowledge, all on the one network.

NeighbourUp
Report incidents, call for help, mark yourself safe, find shelter, and receive official alerts. Role-based access for community members, volunteer responders, and Civil Defence.

NeighbourLink
A local map and noticeboard for sharing hazards, offering help, and requesting help. It keeps the network in use between emergencies.

Local Directory
A local directory of resources, plus a volunteer skills register (first aid, chainsaw, 4WD, VHF radio, and more) so responders know who can help.
Built for the whole community
Simple for neighbours, powerful enough for emergency managers.
Residents
Stay informed, ask for help, and check in as safe.
Volunteers
See where help is needed and coordinate with others.
Civil Defence
Broadcast alerts, track incidents, and export data.
Organisations
Add local resilience without building your own infrastructure.
Resilience as a public good
NeighbourUp is part of Connectivv’s social enterprise mission: strengthening communities so they can look after each other when it matters most. The work aligns with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, and a % of the profits are reinvested into community resilience.
Built on Connectivv Lifeline
NeighbourUp runs on Connectivv Lifeline, our solar and wind-powered communications node. Lifeline is the hardware platform, and NeighbourUp is the software that brings communities together on it.
